Abstract
This research aims to analyze the role of persuasive communication implemented by the management of the Nusa Utama Waste Bank in building public awareness to implement clean living behavior in Metro City.
This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Research findings show that persuasive communication carried out by the management of the Tejosari Waste Bank Unit involves methods of attention, interest, desires, decisions and actions. This strategy has succeeded in increasing public awareness of independent and sustainable waste management. Apart from that, this approach has a positive impact on developing the values of environmental care, responsibility and active community participation in supporting environmental cleanliness. Thus, persuasive communication is a crucial element in the success of waste management programs that are oriented towards environmental sustainability and community welfare.
