Abstract
This research aimed to identify the students implementation of English day program in speaking ability at Islamic Boarding School MAN 1 Metro to overcome the students speaking ability in speaking English day.
This type of research is Qualitative research. The subjects of this research were twenty students and English teacher at Islamic Boarding MAN 1 Metro. Data were collect by documentation, observation, and interview.
From the result of data analyzed, it can be concluded that 11 class students at Islamic Boarding School MAN 1 Metro have several factors that influence their difficulties in using English Day Program. These factors include lack of confidence, fear of making mistakes, and environmental factors. To solve students' difficulties in implementing the English day program, it is recommended to use repeating techniques to improve grammar and pronunciation, create a harmonious classroom atmosphere, use easy language in classroom activities, provide discussion skills training, and give constructive feedback. These strategies can help students build fluency, improve pronunciation, and enhance engagement and confidence.
