Abstract
This qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe the phenomenon of interference associated with disturbances in writing argumentative text later to show also the percentage of interference in the text entry procedure argumentatif. Data this research is a result of student writing argumentative text
The research is qualitative research. Method in this research is using case study.The data collecting methods used documentation, observation, and interview. The research was conducted toward IO of the fourth semester students of English Educational Study Program of State Islamic College (STAIN) of Jurai Siwo Metro Academic Year 2015/2016.This research, then, was analyzed by using a data analyzing technique developed by Miles and Huberman.
The results of the research shows that the students interference can happen in argumentative writing because learners are lack of vocabulary and low of knowledge of argumentative text. After analyzing the phenomena,the researcher found the frequency of students'interference found in argumentative writing of was 18 items ( 18%), and correct in sentences was 82 items (82%). So this analysis can be concluded that the kind of the students' interference in argumentative text happened mostly was the correct sentences, it has 82 items (82%).
