Abstract

Comic is one of the media to learn reading. Comic is an art form using a series of static images in fixed sequence. Using English comics as a means for reading learning can be very pleasing and interesting for the students. By using English comics students will be more interested and more active in learning. This case can be seen from the result of pre-test and post-test. The average score of post• test was 69. Meanwhile, the experiment class got average in pre-test was 53. Most of the students in pre-test got score lower than 60, 65% has not reached the writer purposed. And in the post-test students got score higher than 60, 90% has reached the writer purposed. it means that the result ofpost-test is higher than pre-test.
