Abstract

This study aims to analyze the stylistic and aesthetic elements in the song “Yaa Nabi Salam Alaika” by Maher Zain. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research examines the linguistic and literary features employed in the song lyrics, focusing on figurative language and stylistic devices. The analysis reveals the presence of several dominant stylistic elements, including repetition (takrār), imagery (taṣwīr), and metaphorical expressions that strengthen the emotional and spiritual tone of the song. Repetition is frequently used to emphasize admiration and devotion toward the Prophet Muhammad, while metaphorical expressions enrich the meaning and artistic quality of the lyrics. In addition, imagery contributes to creating vivid spiritual representations that enhance the aesthetic value of the song. The findings indicate that the aesthetic value of the lyrics is constructed through the harmonious integration of these stylistic devices, which reinforce both the poetic beauty and the religious message of the song. This study demonstrates that the stylistic features in “Yaa Nabi Salam Alaika” function not only as artistic expressions but also as linguistic strategies that strengthen the song’s thematic and emotional impact.
