Abstract

The first education is education in the family environment. How well parents have authority that affects the build and moral growth of children,families, schools and communities is a picture of an interrelated education system. In the implementation of education, the family is the basis of education and is the beginning of the educational process, the study of Islamic Religious Education in the family has not been as expected so it is not sufficiently supportedto streng then character education. teachers must be creative in integrating learning methods, learning fun and fun to strengthen character education.Thisreserchaims to describe: 1) Is there a relationship between parentalguidance and student characterbuild. 2 Is there a relationship between Islamic religious education and student character build. 3). Is there a relation ship between parental guidance and Islamic education in schools with the student'scharacter together This type of research is quantitative research with an associative approach survey method. The population of this reserch were all students of SMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi with a total of 45 population research students. Data collection wasdone by distributing questionnaires distributed to students in SMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi Bersar and applied to allreserchpopulations. Hypothesis testing is done\simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. F testand T test were conducted on the results of thereserchwith the aim to determinethe effect of independent variables on the dependent variable level of confidence.The results of thereserchcan be concluded that: 1) There is a relationshipbetween parental guidance and character building for Class XI students at SMANegeri 1 Terbanggi Besar. This is indicated by thevalue of t-count (0.634)> t-table with 45 = 45 1% = 0.376 with t-table level, so that the variable of parentalguidance on thebuildof student characters. 2) There is a relationship betweenIslamic religious education and thebuildof the character of class XI students atSMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar. This is indicated by the value of t-count (0.430)>t-table of 1% confidence level = 0.376 and so it can be said that the variable ofIslamic religious education is related to thebuildof student character, 3) parentalguidance and Islamic religious education are equally related to each other significant with the build of student character in SMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar.This is indicated by the value of t-count (1.402)> t-table at a csignifikan level of5% =0.291, and a signifikan level of 1% = 0.376 at the level of the t-table, so thatparental guidance and Islamic religious education relate to thebuildof student character.
