Abstract

This study aimed to describe competence of teachers in using instructional media Arabic language in Islamic Senior High School 1 Metro.This reseach methode was qualitative. Reseach was conducted at Islamic Senior High School 1 Metro. Reseach responden were 3 teachers Arabic language of Islamic Senior High School. The data collection methode used observation instruments and interviews. Both of these instruments were used to get data about competence of Arabic language teachers in using instructional media Arabic language, and to find the type of instructional media that student likes. Steps of data analy is techniques were collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and making conclusion. The result showed that the competence of Arabic language teachers in using instructional media is not good, and teacher has difficulty in using media instructional.
