Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital and Islamic Corporate Governance on the Maqashid Syariah Index in Islamic Banking in Indonesia in 2015-2019. To answer the questions How does intellectual capital affect Islamic maqashid in Islamic banking in Indonesia in 2015-2019?, and How does Islamic corporate governance affect Islamic maqashid in Islamic banking in Indonesia in 2015-2019?, and how intellectual capital and Islamic corporate governance affect Islamic maqashid index on Islamic banking in Indonesia in 2015-2019?. This type of research is quantitative research and is explanatory research, namely a study that aims to explain the causal relationship and influence between the variables tested. The data collection method in this study uses the documentation method, namely taking data from financial reports and Annual Reports on each official website of Islamic banking listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the Financial Services Authority. The method of analysis in this study is the method of Random Effect (RE), Common Effect (CE), and Fixed Effect (Fixed Effect). Hypothesis testing in this study using t-test. Data analysis using STATA. The results show that Intellectual Capital has an significant influence on the Maqashid Syariah Index, Islamic Corporate Governance has an significant influence on the Maqashid Syariah Index, and intellectual capital and Islamic corporate governance has an significant influence on the maqashid Syariah index in Islamic Banking in Indonesia in 2015 – 2019.
