Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the idiomatic expression used in film entitled “Avenger End Game Movie.”

This type of research is research qualitative. Data were collected by means of literature review and observation. In addition, in the observation activity, the researcher observes by listening and writing conversations for the cast
of the “Avenger End Game Movie”. Furthermore, by using a literature review, the research captures some of the bottom text in the film or description which is a Similes, Binomials, Proverb, Euphemism, Cliché, and Fixed statement.

The results of this study are researcher get the meaning contained in an “Avenger End Game Movie”. In movie Avenger: End Game movie found the types of idiom as follows : there are 2 idiomatic expression of binomial, 5 idiomatic expression of proverb, 2 idiomatic expression of euphemism, 5 idiomatic expression of cliché, 2 idiomatic expression of fixed statement, and 1idiomatic expression of similes.
