Abstract

The main aim of this research was to know whether Exit Slips Strategy influences the students’ writing skill at MA Al-Asror Sekampung Lampung timur. This research was conducted on the basis of problems in the low writing skill of students that researcher found in the pre-survey process. It is hoped that through this research the students' writing skill is better.
The method of this research was quantitative research in the form of quasi-experimental design carried out at MA Al-Asror Sekampung Lampung timur. The population of this research was the eleventh graders students. The sample of this research was 26 students in the eleventh grade of MA Al-Asror Sekampung
Lampung timur. In collecting data, the researcher used test (pre-test and post-test), observation and documentation.
The research results show that the result of sig. 2 tailed is 0.00. It is clear that if the probability or Sig. > α (0.05), the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It means that there is a positive and significant influence of variable X on variable Y. In the other words, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it is concluded that this there is a positive and significant influence of Exit Slips Journal Strategy on the students’ writing skill.
