Abstract

Al-Islam teacher developments the value of Muhammadiyah Chracteristic on students using transfer of valuefunction.So, the students’ mistake could be minimalized and avoided by the role of active teacher optimally.

The problem background of this research are; firstly, SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro is one of the private schools which is organized by Muhammadiyah organization, there are many students come from different culture, religion, and social, included have different attitude and how they interact among the students and to the teachers. Secondly,teacher is the most important people who anticipate and minimalized the juvenile delinquency, moreover the teacher of Al-Islam who has the most responsible in developmenting the Islamic values on the students. Thirdly, the characteristic values are as the effective way to anticipate all kind of juvenile delinquency.The problems focus of this research are what the role of Al-Islam teacher are to developmentthe characteristic values of Muhammadiyah inSMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro, and how Al-Islam teacher apply the method, and what constraints faced of Al-Islam teacher are to developmentthe caharacteristic values of Muhammadiyah in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro . The, the aims of this research are to know and analyze what the role of Al-Islam teacher are to developmentthe characteristic values of Muhammadiyahon students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro, and how Al-Islam teacher apply the method, and what constraints faced of Al-Islam teacher are to developmentthe caharacteristic values of Muhammadiyah in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro.

The kind of this research is field research using descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is the teacher of Al-Islam, the headmaster, and the students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro. The data collecting method used by the researcher are; interview, observation, and documentation. The analyze the data, the researcher collects the data, reduce the data, and conclude the research.

The result of this research are; 1) the role of Al-Islam teacher of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Metro is a the teacher, advisor, educator, motivator, coachand is imitated by all the students, 2) the teacher has built the characteristic of Muhammadiyah on the students, such as; honesty, helpful, work hard, ober the parents and teachers, pray and study hole of the time. 3) the obstacles faced in bulding the character of Muhammadiyah on students are; multicultural students who has different culture, social and religion, the lach of students knoledge, and bad students’ enviroment, the awareness and sincerity of the students to do best.
