Abstract
The objective of the research is to find out the diificulties about using English for communication in pekon suka Negara pesisir barat. Speaking has been one of the most important skill to be mastered, by mastering speaking English people are able to communicate each other. Therefore, in speaking activity the members should work as much as possible on their own, talk to another directly, and able to understand what people say to them. The problem in this research is some members of Youth Organization have some difficult to speaking English.
This research is qualitative research. The population of this research was the members of Youth Organization. The sample of this research was 20 members. The researcher used interview and documentation as the data collecting method. In order to analyze the data. The researcher used first is collecting the data, second is reduce the data, third is describe the data, abd the last is verifies the data.
In this research, the result of interview test is from 20 members that answers 7 interview questions there are 10 members that have difficult in English speaking, 5 members answers they less vocabulary, 3 members said they do not like English, and 2 members are interest to learn about English. Based on these condition the members has same difficulties, it means that there was less vocabulary and some members do not like English. Keyword: Difficulties, Speaking English.
