Abstract

The purpose of this undergraduate thesis is to construct speaking materials for English instruction in mosques that are based on the develop of Common European Framework of References (CEFR). The study primary goal is to meet the demands of Muslims who are non-native English speakers who want to learn the language in a religious atmosphere. The CEFR provides a complete framework for developing international standards-aligned syllabi, lesson plans, and teaching
resources.
This study research technique included CEFR research and development (R&D) and its use in language instruction. The study also includes a needs analysis of the target audience to discover their individual learning requirements and problems. The findings imply that using CEFR-based materials can greatly improve the quality of English education in mosques and students' overall learning outcomes.
