Abstract

The aims of this research is to find out whether Storyjumper affects the writing skill of the eleventh grade of MAN Insan Cendekia East Lampung. This research was conducted based on the students poor writing skill particular in grammar that researcher discovered in the pre-survey process. It is hoped that students writing skill is improved.

This is quantitative research in the form of a quasi-experimental design carried out at MAN Insan Cendekia East Lampung. The class of this research was the eleventh grade. The sample for this research was the eleventh grader students of MAN Insan Cendekia East Lampung. In collecting data, the researcher used tests (pre-test and post-test) and documentation.

The research result show that the Sig. research is (.308). That means the value of Sig. Research results > 0.05. If the value of Sig. > 0.05 then the research data is homogenous. It was investigated that the result of Sig. 2-tailed value is .000. It is clear that if the probability or Sig. > α (0.05), the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It means that there is a positive and significant influence of Storyjumper on the students writing skill. In the other words, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it is concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of Storyjumper towards students’ writing skill at MAN Insan Cendekia East Lampung.
