Abstract
Having a good speaking performance when we make communication with foreigner or others is one of the most important objectives when someone learns second language. Besides, other people could identify how well we mastered target language or not by speaking performance. Nevertheless, the result of the students speaking performance in Primadona Education Center was still low and sounded clumsy as they did not have good motivation that grow from their selves or we called as integrative motivation. So, this research was focused on the influence of the integrative motivation toward the students speaking performance. Then, wishes their speaking performance improved as their integrative motivation grew. This research was conducted in Primadona Education Center Metro. Then, the subject of this research was the students of Basic Communication Class and it consists of 12 students. This research was quantitative research design. The writer used test, questioner, observation, and documentation as data collection method. Moreover, the writer used test to measure speaking performance variable and questioner to identify integrative motivation variable. Furthermore, this research used treatment to enhancing speaking performance. Based on the result of the research, shown that speaking performance in Basic Communication Class at the Primadona Education Center could improve. In other hand, they had less motivation and always shy to speak something in front of the class before. The results of data analysis were tobserved =7.74, ttable for the 5% level = 2.16 and for the 1% level = 3.00. Finally, the data confirmed that toberved is bigger than ttable. Therefore, it can be inferred that Hi is accepted and Ho is rejected. It means that there is a positive and significant influence between the students' integrative motivation to go abroad toward the students speaking performance at the Primadona Education Center.
