Abstract

This study provides information on the effectiveness of simple lawsuit procedures in religious courts, religious courts have been effective in carrying out simple lawsuit procedures but only a few simple lawsuit cases have been submitted to religious courts, even though religious courts have implemented the latest procedures and regulations to handle simple lawsuit cases. In this study, the factors causing this will be discussed. This study also provides information on recommendations on how to overcome this. This study uses qualitative research to gain a deep understanding of the effectiveness of simple lawsuit procedures and the effectiveness of the court in providing information to the public regarding simple lawsuits. The results of the study provide information that litigating in court is not complicated and the process is also not long with the new regulations regarding simple lawsuits, but some people do not know about it, so it is important for the public to get this information so that it is easy to seek justice in religious courts. This paper explains the importance of providing information to the public so that the public is not confused and knows where to seek justice regarding simple lawsuits in religious courts
