Abstract
This study aims to describe the integration strategy of the values of the Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project (P5) within the teaching instruments of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, and to analyze the implementation of project-based learning models in shaping students' discipline and independence at SMP Negeri 1 Rumbia, Central Lampung. Furthermore, the study explores the form of interdisciplinary collaboration carried out by PAI teachers to support P5 values and their contribution to the character development of students. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.
The findings of the study indicate that the strategy for implementing the values of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) in the teaching instruments of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers is directed through the formulation of learning objectives, project activities based on local wisdom, and attitude assessments that emphasize the habituation of discipline and independence. The application of project-based learning models is carried out through collaborative student activities such as religious practices, socio-religious initiatives, and the introduction of local culture, which foster students' sense of responsibility and initiative. Interdisciplinary teacher collaboration is established through joint planning and synergy in the implementation of P5 projects, which significantly contributes to the development of students’ character.
The implications of this study suggest that the success of P5 implementation in PAI learning strongly depends on the synergy between teaching strategies, contextual project models, and teacher collaboration as character facilitators. Thus, strengthening teacher competence and institutional support is crucial for the sustainability of this program.
