Abstract
This research aims at describing the teachers' planning of integrating Islamic values into the English language teaching; gaining in-depth and comprehensive description about the process of incorporating Islamic values into the English instruction; explaining challenges and constrains found in integrating Islamic values in the SDIT Wahdatul Ummah.
This study is qualitative in nature. It implements case study type. The research data were obtained through direct observation in the Al-Ankabut class; interview with the English teacher and headmaster; and also some documents of SDIT Wahdatul Ummah. The data from observation and interview were analyzed using qualitative data analysis, while the documents were discerned using content analysis.
The examination of the targeted objects reveals that, first, teachers have incorporated Islamic values in their teaching and learning process following the implicit and explicit modes of integration in the teachers' plan; second, the integration is not a hundred percent yet. Teachers have integrated Islamic values in the instruction, but in the writing documents they have not yet; third, the challenges and constrains are lack of teachers' competencies and infrastructure.
